Salmo 64

¹Escucha, oh Dios, mi voz en mi oración: Guarda mi vida del miedo del enemigo.

²Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos; De la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad:

³Que amolaron su lengua como cuchillo, Y armaron por su saeta palabra amarga;

⁴Para asaetear a escondidas al íntegro: De improviso lo asaetean, y no temen.

⁵Obstinados en su inicuo designio, Tratan de esconder los lazos, Y dicen: ¿Quién los ha de ver?

⁶Inquieren iniquidades, hacen una investigación exacta; Y el íntimo pensamiento de cada uno de ellos, así como el corazón, es profundo.

⁷Mas Dios los herirá con saeta; De repente serán sus plagas.

⁸Y harán caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas: Se espantarán todos los que los vieren.

⁹Y temerán todos los hombres, Y anunciarán la obra de Dios, Y entenderán su hecho.

¹⁰Alegraráse el justo en Jehová, y confiaráse en él; Y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.

¹Alabad a Dios en su santuario: Alabadle en la extensión de su fortaleza.

²Alabadle por sus proezas: Alabadle conforme a la muchedumbre de su grandeza.

³Alabadle a son de bocina: Alabadle con salterio y arpa.

⁴Alabadle con adufe y flauta: Alabadle con cuerdas y órgano.

Salmo 27

¹Jehová es mi luz y mi salvación: ¿de quién temeré? Jehová es la fortaleza de mi vida: ¿de quién he de atemorizarme?

²Cuando se allegaron contra mí los malignos, mis angustiadores y mis enemigos, Para comer mis carnes, ellos tropezaron y cayeron.

³Aunque se asiente campo contra mí, No temerá mi corazón: Aunque contra mí se levante guerra, Yo en esto confío.

⁴Una cosa he demandado a Jehová, ésta buscaré: Que esté yo en la casa de Jehová todos los días de mi vida, Para contemplar la hermosura de Jehová, y para inquirir en su templo.

⁵Porque él me esconderá en su tabernáculo en el día del mal; Ocultaráme en lo reservado de su pabellón; Pondráme en alto sobre una roca.

⁶Y luego ensalzará mi cabeza sobre mis enemigos en derredor de mí: Y yo sacrificaré en su tabernáculo sacrificios de júbilo: Cantaré y salmearé a Jehová.

⁷Oye, oh Jehová, mi voz con que a ti clamo; Y ten misericordia de mí, respóndeme.

⁸Mi corazón ha dicho de ti: Buscad mi rostro. Tu rostro buscaré, oh Jehová.

⁹No escondas tu rostro de mí, No apartes con ira a tu siervo: Mi ayuda has sido; No me dejes y no me desampares, Dios de mi salud.

¹⁰Aunque mi padre y mi madre me dejaran, Jehová con todo me recogerá.

¹¹Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino, Y guíame por senda de rectitud, A causa de mis enemigos.

¹²No me entregues a la voluntad de mis enemigos; Porque se han levantado contra mí testigos falsos, y los que respiran crueldad.

¹³Hubiera yo desmayado, si no creyese que tengo de ver la bondad de Jehová En la tierra de los vivientes.

¹⁴Aguarda a Jehová; Esfuérzate, y aliéntese tu corazón: Sí, espera a Jehová.

Salmo 30

¹Glorificarte he, oh Jehová; porque me has ensalzado, Y no hiciste a mis enemigos alegrarse de mí.

²Jehová Dios mío, A ti clamé, y me sanaste.

³Oh Jehová, hiciste subir mi alma del sepulcro; Dísteme vida, para que no descendiese a la sepultura.

⁴Cantad a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Y celebrad la memoria de su santidad.

⁵Porque un momento será su furor; Mas en su voluntad está la vida: Por la tarde durará el lloro, Y a la mañana vendrá la alegría.

⁶Y dije yo en mi prosperidad: No seré jamás conmovido;

⁷Porque tú, Jehová, por tu benevolencia has asentado mi monte con fortaleza. Escondiste tu rostro, fuí conturbado.

⁸A ti, oh Jehová, clamaré; Y al Señor suplicaré.

⁹¿Qué provecho hay en mi muerte, cuando yo descienda al hoyo? ¿Te alabará el polvo? ¿anunciará tu verdad?

¹⁰Oye, oh Jehová, y ten misericordia de mí: Jehová, sé tú mi ayudador.

¹¹Has tornado mi endecha en baile; Desataste mi saco, y ceñísteme de alegría.

¹²Por tanto a ti cantaré, gloria mía, y no estaré callado. Jehová Dios mío, te alabaré para siempre.

Salmo 76

¹Dios es conocido en Judá: En Israel es grande su nombre.

²Y en Salem está su tabernáculo, Y su habitación en Sión.

³Allí quebró las saetas del arco, El escudo, y la espada, y tren de guerra. (Selah.)

⁴Ilustre eres tú; fuerte, más que los montes de caza.

⁵Los fuertes de corazón fueron despojados, durmieron su sueño; Y nada hallaron en sus manos todos los varones fuertes.

⁶A tu reprensión, oh Dios de Jacob, El carro y el caballo fueron entorpecidos.

⁷Tú, terrible eres tú: ¿Y quién parará delante de ti, en comenzando tu ira?

⁸Desde los cielos hiciste oir juicio; La tierra tuvo temor y quedó suspensa,

⁹Cuando te levantaste, oh Dios, al juicio, Para salvar a todos los mansos de la tierra. (Selah.)

¹⁰Ciertamente la ira del hombre te acarreará alabanza: Tú reprimirás el resto de las iras.

¹¹Prometed, y pagad a Jehová vuestro Dios: Todos los que están alrededor de él, traigan presentes al Terrible.

¹²Cortará él el espíritu de los príncipes: Terrible es a los reyes de la tierra.

Salmo 116:10–19

¹⁰Creí; por tanto hablé, estando afligido en gran manera.

¹¹Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

¹²¿Qué pagaré a Jehová por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

¹³Tomaré la copa de la salud, e invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

¹⁴Ahora pagaré mis votos a Jehová Delante de todo su pueblo.

¹⁵Estimada es en los ojos de Jehová la muerte de sus santos.

¹⁶Oh Jehová, que yo soy tu siervo, yo tu siervo, hijo de tu sierva: Rompiste mis prisiones.

¹⁷Te ofreceré sacrificio de alabanza, e invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

¹⁸A Jehová pagaré ahora mis votos delante de todo su pueblo;

¹Oh Jehová, oye mi oración, escucha mis ruegos: Respóndeme por tu verdad, por tu justicia.

²Y no entres en juicio con tu siervo; Porque no se justificará delante de ti ningún viviente.

³Porque ha perseguido el enemigo mi alma; Ha postrado en tierra mi vida; Hame hecho habitar en tinieblas como los ya muertos.

⁴Y mi espíritu se angustió dentro de mí; Pasmóse mi corazón.

⁵Acordéme de los días antiguos; Meditaba en todas tus obras, Reflexionaba en las obras de tus manos.

Psalm 64

¹Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

²Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

³Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

⁴That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

⁵They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

⁶They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

⁷But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

⁸So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

⁹And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

¹⁰The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Psalm 150

¹Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

²Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

³Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

⁴Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Psalm 27

¹The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

²When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

³Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

⁴One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

⁵For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

⁶And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

⁷Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

⁸When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

⁹Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

¹⁰When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

¹¹Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

¹²Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

¹³I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

¹⁴Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalm 30

¹I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

²O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

³O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

⁴Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

⁵For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

⁶And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

⁴Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

⁵The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

⁶At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

⁷Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

⁸Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

¹⁰I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

¹²What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁴I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

¹⁶O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

¹Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

³For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

⁴Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

⁵I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
